Problem sorted. I machined down a g161 single cam distributor to suit. Simply adapted up the drive gear from the twin cam distributor to the single cam and shortened the shaft. The old distributor was stuffed anyway. It made alot of difference. It made 110hp at the wheels on my mates dyno at his wor...

G200W Distibutor with points ignition
Hi, I own a G200W with a points type distributor. I have discovered that the mechinal advance unit is worn out and only advances 5 degrees throughout the rev range, therefore not allowing the engine to rev properly. Since most people go with fuel injection rather than carbs I imagine someone would h...

On my g200w i bought a sohc sump gasket and modified it. The hoop at one end and the majority of the bolt holes line up from the back but the front is a bit different. I cut a bit out of the centre of the hoop and glued it back together with contact cement. It is also a bit shorter so i cut small se...

I bought my g200w for 600 bucks. I bought it in pieces due to a broken bottom end bearing. It came with new pistons, reground cams, new valve springs, custom made extractors, ported and polished head, twin solex carburettors and a spare g200 crankshaft. It has cost me about another 700 to get it bac...

G200W distributor cap
Gday I have g200w with a points distrubutor, i'm guessing its an older distributor for that engine. Anyway the distributor cap is arcing between terminals, I can see it in the dark. There are no visible cracks in the cap. Does anyone have any ideas where i could possibly get a dizzy cap from to suit...

Gday guys, i'm the dohc_gemini bloke from the other forum. I set the cam timing up like this, the timing marks on the cam pulleys straight up and no1 cylinder on t.d.c. as the chain has no timing marks. The chain I have is probably a custom one as parts for the twin cam engines are near impossible t...
