Also gotta watch out for new water pumps, the ones that pop up on eBay every now and then have a pressed impeller opposed to the factory cast ones which is also common in the G***z series motors, although NOS items might be alright. I know this has an effect ...

Timing Chain Tensioner
Hi
Just trying to find out some information on removing and installing the later ratchet type chain tensioner. It's the only thing stopping me from pulling my head off.
Cheers

Gearbox Markings
Hey everyone, So I was casually looking at my G180W ZZ/R gearbox today and I noticed a flat section on the passenger side (in front of the cast Isuzu emblem) with some engraved numbers. I was a little confused at this and went to compare it to my other G200W gearbox to which I found the same flat se...

Re: G180w Dipstick
Thanks for your detailed message,
Does this mean you have a book volume for oil level, as this would be a great starting point for me as I have neither a dipstick or any idea of how much oil a G180w should have.
Cheers,
Jake

Re: G180w Dipstick
Thanks for your reply, it has made a lot of sense.
When you marked it at the low and the high, what was the total amount of oil used? Also, would you know if the Z series sump fits onto the W series block? And if so this would have solved my dipstick problem.
Cheers,
Jake

Thanks,
I'm just running the original PF60 Computer, so I'll just find the best spot to place it in comparison it with the loom length.

G180w
Hi,
I'm am currently installing a later G180w into my Gemini Coupe which I'm taking out of another Gemini, a TF. I don't like the modification on the offside engine mount and I was wondering if anybody has any pics or info as to how to approach this problem.
Cheers
