I know this has been covered but I'm more or less after a one word answer.
Just bought some non-caustic oven cleaner, is this safe to use to clean the exterior of the engine, any parts I should avoid? Anything I should know, e.g. don't leave it too long etc?

Twincam needs: surge tank, EFI lines, TPS, recored radiator, hoses, assemble the ECU (50% done).
