is there any body out there willing to convert my distributor to electronic for me and i will negotiate a price. i will be running a microtech lt10s with 4 coil packs.

any advice greatly appreciated.

i have no clue either when it comes to this elky ahahahaah

but what i am trying to do is convert my points dizzy to electronic by fitting some other internals into my one. i know there is some one out there that has done it before i think they are located in melb.........

i have considered a crank angle sensor but A) its more work and not as cost effective
B) im not to convinced crank angle sensors are better or more reliable.

there was a twincam turbo engine getting around brisbane a few yrs back and he sent his dizzy to someone off hotgem and they did the conversion for him...

Where are you or will you mail the parts, or pay for them etc?

You mentioned 4 coil packs. For this you need a CAS unless the microtech has the smarts. (CAS is not needed for single-fire EFI & Ignition (aka sequential), but apparently few units have the smarts to get around using a CAS.)

If you want twin-fire (ie, 2 splugs fired simultaneously), it may be possible with a modified dizzy (eg, 2 pickups/sensors and only 2 "lobes" or slots etc). I'm about to try using the RB Gem guts.

FTR - convert a Gemini dizzy to suit the DOHCs.
Can then convert the Gem points to RB reluctor.
And lock as required.
