Isuzu G-series Twin Cam

Hello Twin Cammers

I have just bought a Triumph TR7 with a G180W isuzu motor.

I dont know anything about these engines, except that it's infinitely better than the original motor.

I am really impessed by the torque and power this thing produces, what a sweet motor.

Any advice as to maintainence, weaknesses, specifications, parts and manuals availibility would be much appreciated.

My only concern at present is the cam chain (I think) is rattling on startup from cold for about 5 seconds. Is there a manual tensioner or adjustment to overcome this?

Anyway I have included some pics, hopefully so you can tell me it's one of the dark green rocker cover models, with even more performance waiting to be unleashed!
