Thanks Elky, Poida, ISU069 for finally getting yours truely on here!
Introduce myself to the rest of you,
Chris, work at firestone - wheel alignment tech/tyre tech, Owned 4 Vauxhall Chevettes, 3 Gemini's, and wrecked out 2x Isuzu piazza's (both manual single cams, one a 4z, other g200z)
From New Zealand..
About my project, well in the scheme of things even once finished it'll be pretty slow, but It should handle exceptionally well, with its koni shocks, piazza front brakes, new tires & rims, king springs, every bushing & ball joint in the car replaced - may be somewhat rather stiff I fear though As you can tell Im not really into the big gay wheels, I prefer to keep things looking either stock or period style modifications to a certain extent.
Current gemini wagon - can be seen in the foreground of some photos, runs a g161z with g181z crank, crow cam, twin 36drla carbs (ideally needs a tune) & a 5spd - also has gilmer drive belts.. Just a fun car thats used daily/makes a great parts hauler
