I own a beat up 77 TC with a G161 that i rebuilt myself from the ground up using the workshop manual and mechanic advice(just enough info to be dangerous hahah). Made a few mistakes in doing so but learnt valuble lessons from the project. Motor now runs like a dream and i get 10-12km/ltr from her.
I have just lined up a G180w for $400, motor with efi inlet manifold, hasn't been started for a few years, aparantly came out of a gem used by a pro rally team and is pretty trick. hasn't been used since it came out of the car so not completely sure of its condition.
So, I am doing plenty of reading here to learn as much about the motors as i can, but i am gonna have some probably noob questions for you soon enough
This is going to be a long term project for me, as i get the feeling i am about to become a student of EFI and there are still alot of parts i need to get to make this thing work and fit:)
