hello , just wondering if any of you guys know what the timing should be set at before top dead center as my motor seems to be out a bit any help would be great :wink:

Unless it seems wrong when you do it, I'd say use 6 degrees BTDC as a guide until someone gives you the exact figure as I can't imagine it'd be hugely different between the engines. If you alter it progressively though, you can find a setting that gets you good power without "pinging" (premature detonation) at any rev range or temperature, and without it being too advanced or retarded.

hmmm i'll have another go and put it around six but at the moment im getting a little over run and it wasnt doin this before we moved the timing a little i hope this is wat it is!
