Hey guys when i bought my engine (G180WA), it came with a permaseal gasket kit what i want to know is if this will be suitable for supercharged and on gas
Or do i need to get a copper one made?
Also how will the supercharger cope with the high RPM?

Cheers

when you say gas do you mean nitrous if so how much and how much boost.i reckon you could sell the permaseal gasket for the same price as a copper gasket since its nearly impossible to get them. and if you've got the engine apart get some o-rings put in and you wont have to worry

Nah not nitrous, LPG sorry.
Probably nothing over 7pounds.
Whats the best way to get a copper gasket made? Just from the stock one?

the guy that did mine had the design in a book. but 7psi with lpg will be fine with the standard head gasket.

If you are wondering about the copper head gasket, the best bet is to call around to copper machine shops and engine shops to see who can do the best price, you can use an existing head gasket or use the head/block itself as a blank once it's been pulled apart. A shop down here said they could make one for about $120 a couple of years ago, that's quite a good price though, I've heard a lot higher.
