Forum Update - 01-01-06 ERROR!!!! <-READ!

Happy new year people...

I did a software update last night and so far I've found no glitches. If anyone does happen to find anything out of place please let me know.

You won't see many of the additions provided in the update as they are more for security purposes. While I was fiddling I also added a few extra bits such as the four external links at the top of the page.

Something has gone wrong! Since doing the update I now find I can't post new topics but I can post replies.

I get an error message

Fatal error: Only variables can be passed by reference in /site_address/twincam/includes/functions_search.php on line 113

when I submit messages. If I am posting areply it seems to work when I page back and refresh but not if it's a new post.

I'm working on fixing the problem so please be aware it is happening. In the meantime post replies and page back to the original subject.

All is well again. It turned out the problem came from an upgrade of some software on my server. That offending software has been changed and the problem is no longer.
