This was a most reliable car for the ten or so years I drove it around.
The car body shell is still relatively rust free but has a couple of notable dings..
(1) It was rear ended by a fool doing a mono on a motorbike who slammed into the rear d/s guard/boot.
(2) the handbrake was not correctly applied and it rolled down the drive while the driver's door was open, folding the driver's door wide open, damaging the door, and the A pillar was twisted.
Neither of these incidents killed it, just made it look like crap!
It's been set up with straight LPG fuel, so no petrol carby, fuel tank or emission system.
The engine is still running strong and has been fitted with a reluctor type for greater reliability.
Drivetrain running gear is a standard Salisbury rear end; the gearbox has already been sold.
Interior trim is as expected for a daily use car of it's age.
